This is a collection of two poems I have been working on lately. The second one is a continuation of the first. Let me know what you think.
New page New stage A clueless audience in A twisted game Words wander like the wretched waren of a childhood bedtime story Watership Down Up and abound In adolesence's morning glory How does one begin some tail That sums up the treasured taste of youth's Holy Grail That liquifies the venom of A copperhead and welds it to Scales of bronze I'm on Eden's threshold And at the foot of Hades' gates Waiting for the memories that I recall To be measured in their own weight My hands tremble in fear that Satan Remains so cruel and unsate With the havoc he's wreaked thus far The glass globe quakes in the palm Of my hand It shatters into pieces and I am The only body that can Withstand it The oceans turn to sand And the sky morphs into space Which I Being the sole being that I am Am obligated to fill
but how can i fill so much space ?
In kindergarden We were taught That it was wrong to plant flowers Where their roots couldn't expand Where they were unable to Consume-mate Every square inch of sand Our little minds couldn't Wrap around the Enormity of Mother Nature's unconditional embrace Past on generations in Beauty and grace To the Earth skin of her grandaughters So tell me, Why it would ever be incorrect ? To till the soil And sow the seeds For every daughter flourishes From a branch that needs To somehow love others And with that love she craves To be seen in the dark and loved The exact same way For without the Earth the flowers Will never learn to bloom And the body isn't ruled by the heart But by the tides of the moon.
