On Stereotypes

Why is the lens of society
Programmed to the tune of a vinyl record
The same songs strangle the apathetic ear
Which neglects the drag and scrape of the needle

The turntables spin but never truly change
The mosaic of music muddling our minds
Meddling with the malignant metal
Which imprisons us within its confines
