This is the first book in a new fantasy series that was recommended to me by a friend. As someone who was eagerly looking for more fantasy books to read, I am glad to say that I was not the least bit disappointed.
I absolutely devoured this book. Not only was it incredibly unique and creative, but the storyline kept me engaged and intrigued throughout. It was the perfect fantasy book, with just the right amount of romance, magic, and suspense.
Summary:
The story starts with Evangeline Fox whose lover, Luc, is marrying her stepsister. Utterly confused and heartbroken, she prays to the Fates and summons the Prince of Hearts.
Ignoring all cautionary tales against negotiating with the Fates, she strikes a deal with him, so Luc will fall for her again. In return, the Prince asks for three kisses. Evangeline must kiss three other men besides Luc. Unfortunately, nothing goes as planned, and fate pulls her on a whirlwind journey filled with manipulation, lust, adventure, and passion.
I will definitely be reading the second book in this series, and I hope it will live up to the standards of the first!
