A Wife of vice and virtue

There's a dotted line beween
Love---
and hate ---
good----
and bad---
indulgence———
and distaste
On
Which I sign
With sinistrality

Would I lay my life
Down for my faith in
Hypnotic prose
slithering
From the voices of Demagogues
Intituting a moral
Code
Which I refuse to exalt

Would I take this dogma to be my own?
Through life——-
and death
serendipity——-
and adversity
luxury——-
and poverty

To be hitched between
The ethical throes
Which safekeep
Virtue’s vault?

Would I wed this Virtue
With Angel’s eyes
The face of a demon
Eclipsed
in its disguise

his Veiled Vice
only Angelicized

I
Say “I do”
Relishing the lie
