This life is so rich It's a golden tapestry That catches on my hands and gnaws away at my torn skin It sows seeds into the sutures of Earth's Endless sky And falters like a baby dove Just learning how to fly Sometimes it plummets Sometimes it soars The gushing waterfall rivets me as it rushes and roars. God's wrath and sorrow Still Hails and pours And I come out stronger than I ever was before My skin slowly softens My hair tinges in the sun light Instead finding ways to escape and run I stand my ground and learn to fight
