No More A Castle of Glass
Some people never know
That as the towers crash and burn and
The foreboding crow utters its furious cry
You're the mystical queen hiding in the rubble
Faltering as you learn
How to truly try
Others may never notice the way your hands tremble
They only appreciate your graceful glide
They watch you move forward with no warning
Holding your stone-face head up high
But blood runs thick beneath such composure
That crown she wears with so much dignity
She continually collapses as she tries to stay sober
Amidst each fall and calamity
Tears d

p
like sweet-milk
A bucket,
a torrent
They wash away her broken past
So she starts to build a tower of Stone
Instead of shaping a castle of g l a s s
But sometimes she fears that no matter what she does
She'll never redeem the person she was
She was so focussed on being perfect that she forgot
What it was finally like to be enough
That's still the reason she's trapped in this cage
This invisible prison that has no key
Everyone tells her to turn a new page
Because she's the only one who can set herself free
